FAQ

Questions, answered.

How do I clean my splint?

Hand wash with mild soap and cool-to-lukewarm water, then let it air dry completely before wearing again. Skip the dishwasher, washing machine, hot water, and direct heat — radiators, hair dryers, or a hot car — which can soften or warp the printed material. No special cleansers are needed, and a gentle rinse after sweaty or active days keeps it fresh.

How long can I wear it each day?

Struxa splints are made for comfortable all-day wear, but how long and how often you wear one depends on you and your situation. Follow the guidance of a healthcare professional on wear time and daily routine. Take a break and remove the splint if you notice pinching, numbness, tingling, or skin irritation.

What are Struxa splints made of?

Struxa splints are 3D printed from a durable, flexible polymer chosen for a balance of strength and light weight. We don't make hypoallergenic or latex-free claims. If you have known skin sensitivities or material allergies, check with a healthcare professional before wearing any splint, and discontinue use if you notice skin irritation.

How do I pick a size?

Struxaform splints come in two fit options: One-Size-Fits-All, a universal, ready-to-use fit, and Trim-to-Size, an oversized version you can trim for a more customized fit. See Fit & Sizing for guidance on choosing between them and trimming.

When would I use a Struxa splint?

People wear finger splints in many everyday situations — for general finger support or trigger finger support. Struxa splints are general support products, not a diagnosis or a treatment plan. Always consult a healthcare professional to decide whether a splint is right for your situation, and which type.

When will my order ship?

Struxa splints are engineered and manufactured in Colorado. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships, and shipping methods, rates, and delivery estimates are shown at checkout.

What is your return policy?

We want you in the right splint. Because fit and comfort matter, here's how returns and exchanges work:

  • 30-day window. If you're not satisfied, email us at hello@struxasplints.com with your order number within 30 days of delivery to start a return or exchange.
  • Condition. Standard-size splints can be returned if they're unworn, unwashed, and in original condition and packaging. For hygiene reasons we can't accept splints that have been worn or washed, unless the item is defective.
  • One free size exchange. If the fit isn't right, we'll cover a one-time size exchange per order — send the unworn splint back and we'll send your new size.
  • Trim-to-Size & customized items. Trim-to-Size splints that have already been cut or modified can't be returned unless they arrived defective, since they've been customized to you.
  • Damaged, misprinted, or wrong item. If your order arrives defective or isn't what you ordered, email us within 30 days with a photo and we'll make it right with a free replacement or a full refund — usually with no return needed.
  • Refunds. Approved refunds go to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days after we receive the return. Return shipping is your responsibility for change-of-mind returns; we cover it for defects and our errors. Original shipping is non-refundable except on defective or incorrect orders.
